Meet Penny

She is a multi-million dollar top producer, former Senior Vice President of Sales, and former President of the Premier Homes Collection at her previous brokerage where she was for 11 years.

Twenty years in the luxury real estate market, she has been sought after by clients from Singapore, London, Spain, France, and Argentina hailing from Wall Street to Broadway and seeking luxury real estate investments in the tony hamlets of Fairfield County, Connecticut.

She is an effectively skilled negotiator, motivated leader, trusted real estate adviser, and Certified Luxury Home Marketing specialist.

These talents were honed from her professional life as an agent and her personal life as a buyer and seller of 12 of her own homes in Westport, Southport, Greenfield Hill, and Fairfield. Many of these homes were whole house renovations which she designed, overseeing each construction project from start to finish. She is experienced as a stager and has worked closely with professional staging companies to show her listings in the best possible light, winning an award for the agent who most utilized the staging process. She could walk through a house and instantly spin a renovation in her mind to help you see what could be. Most importantly, she is a great listener, with a keen eye for investments and a perfect mind for real estate.

Penny and her husband, James reside in Fairfield. They met as children (ages 7 and 9) at the local ballroom dance studio and danced competitively for 10 years becoming the United States Ballroom Dance Champions in high school. Penny and James, a plastic surgeon with a 30-year Westport practice, relocated to Fairfield County in 1988 where they raised their three, now-married children. She was an active member in the parent organizations at Greens Farms Academy, Fairfield Country Day School, Hopkins School, and Kent School, and a member of the Fairfield County Hunt Club and Saugatuck Rowing Club. Their children went on to become graduates of Yale University, Middlebury College, and the University of Virginia. She knows every aspect of living in Fairfield County and is your trusted source.

A former RN, Penny’s elite nursing career spanned positions in ICU, open-heart surgery, nursing management as a head nurse and hospital supervisor, and in nursing education as a clinical teacher at some of the nation’s most coveted medical centers: Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Georgetown in DC and UCLA Medical Center in LA.

A luxury lifestyle expert, influencer, and writer for the past 7 years, she is the founder of LyonsLifestyle (www.Lyonslifestyle.com), a website that celebrates the art of the home and elegant entertaining. She has been a lifestyle guest speaker at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington DC to benefit Children’s National Medical Center and has been featured in New England Fine Living Magazine, DC Magazine, Tampa Magazine, Nantucket Magazine, and Modern Luxury DateBook. She has also been a guest on Own Your Truth with Laura T as an Oscar night-style commentator and on the Martha Stewart Living Radio show.

Determination and a constant quest for success have been the foundation of her accomplishments. She is grace under pressure, affable with colleagues and clients, steady in mind, and steadfast in nature. Penny is known for her positive energy, impeccable professionalism, HIPPA-honed privacy settings, and her out-of-the-box approach to real estate, often seeking off-market pocket listings from her vast collegial pool. Wherever you are in your real estate quest, she has likely walked in your shoes. She is by your side, as coordinator and advisor until the truck pulls out of your driveway, and beyond. Her mantra: “Let’s find the shortest distance between two points and sell your home for the highest dollar.”
